Mental Health Specialist II

As a Mental Health Specialist II at Dungarvin, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs. Our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) programs provide a highly specialized and structured environment, where you will work closely with a team to create a safe and supportive living environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs, including behavioral health management and daily living skills training.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe living environment and promoting a person-centered approach.
- Transport and supervise individuals, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old, 21 years old for some sites.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience working with mental illness, with experience in behavior management a plus.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
