Warehouse Material Specialist

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and distribution processes. This position is responsible for managing inventory and facilitating the flow of materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Organizes and maintains stock by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in designated locations; ensures accurate recording of inventory.
- Material Retrieval: Efficiently locates and verifies materials and supplies as per production orders.
- In-Process Inventory Support: Delivers and opens necessary materials and supplies at work centers to maintain workflow.
- Documentation: Accurately records the disposition of materials and supplies, including units delivered and their locations.
- Returns Processing: Manages credit-return materials by verifying codes, lot numbers, and quantities before restocking.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepares finished products for shipment through identification, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing items.
- Shipping Documentation: Keeps track of product shipments by recording the number of units shipped.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensures the proper functioning of material-handling equipment by conducting pre-use inspections and performing minor repairs.
- Team Contribution: Collaborates with team members to achieve shared goals and results.
