Job Summary

The Lean Specialist is responsible for driving lean processes in the manufacturing plant to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to the manufacturing site as needed to facilitate lean initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Conduct 6S plant audits to ensure a safe and organized work environment
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive continuous improvement
  • Support material flow and drive root cause countermeasures
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency
  • Acquire lean certifications, including Gateway Lean Manufacturing Principles and Toyota Production System
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of lean principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
