The Lean Specialist is responsible for driving lean processes in the manufacturing plant to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to the manufacturing site as needed to facilitate lean initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Conduct 6S plant audits to ensure a safe and organized work environment
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive continuous improvement
- Support material flow and drive root cause countermeasures
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency
- Acquire lean certifications, including Gateway Lean Manufacturing Principles and Toyota Production System
- Strong understanding of lean principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
