About the Role:

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate in the most efficient manner and comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs to building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Ensure that all systems operate in the most efficient manner and comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.

• Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.

• Perform emergency repairs as needed and follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and review inspection reports to ensure that building systems are operating within design capabilities and achieving environmental conditions prescribed by clients.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.

• Universal CFC certification is preferred, and certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

• Prior shift management or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products and organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
