Patient Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This full-time position will be responsible for managing the patient check-in process, updating patient information, handling phone calls, and maintaining medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including preparing for the next day's appointments
- Greets patients, checks them in for appointments, and verifies insurance
- Scans documents into the electronic health record and maintains the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter
- Checks schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments and schedules follow-up appointments as needed
- Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record, orders office supplies, and sells and tracks cosmetic products
- Distributes mail and prepares for next day scheduled appointments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred
- Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
