Role Summary

The primary function of this role is to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Business Process Management & Compliance Group by streamlining business workflows. This includes collaborating with branch operations to facilitate the integration of new business, creating and delivering training programs, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and overseeing compliance with security and quality standards, while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement operational SOPs for branch services.
  • Assess training needs for branch operations and develop training programs accordingly. Collaborate with HR/Legal to maintain training documentation.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all requirements are clearly communicated and met by relevant internal teams. Serve as the primary contact for client service and IT inquiries.
  • Generate and distribute reports to management, branch operations, and clients.
  • Support branch compliance audits, ensuring daily operations align with established compliance and accounting protocols.
  • Act as a liaison for compliance-related inquiries from branch operations and clients.
  • Assist branch operations in implementing and maintaining security programs, including C-TPAT, TSA, and TAPA.
  • Manage data entry for accounting and reporting needs within the YUNAS system.
  • Oversee the Corrective Action Program and coordinate follow-up actions as necessary.
  • Help establish and manage a comprehensive Training Program.
  • Monitor ITAR compliance and provide support for any related issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a brokerage or forwarding environment.
  • Possession of a Customs Brokerage License.
  • Willingness to travel for client and branch visits.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to support sales initiatives of professionals in forwarding and GDP.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including periodic audits.
  • Proficient in YUNAS and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Travel overnight as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Engage with employees and clients in a professional manner.
  • Utilize computer systems for communication and report preparation.
  • Analyze data related to IFF Operations.
  • Plan and oversee Training, Quality, and Security initiatives.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
