Nurse Coordinator - Clinical Research

ChristianaCare, a comprehensive healthcare organization in the Delaware Valley region of the United States, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Coordinator - Clinical Research to join our team at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in Hematology and Oncology to coordinate clinical trials research activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate all aspects of protocol treatment and monitoring, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
  2. Maintain accurate patient research charts, including source documents supporting reported data.
  3. Develop methods to ensure patient compliance with protocol procedures, addressing any non-compliance issues through problem-solving.
  4. Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new research nurse coordinators, clinical research associates, and support staff.
  5. Active participation in Multidisciplinary Clinics and Tumor conferences, pre-screening patients for clinical trial eligibility and educating professionals about specific trials.
