Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) is a forward-thinking small enterprise delivering IT and management consulting services to the U.S. Federal Government and commercial sectors. RCS is in search of a Web Developer to create, develop, and deliver media components and interactions that facilitate effective communication and learner engagement related to adult education solutions. These learning solutions may encompass a variety of formats, including graphics, websites, web tools, online courses, Web-Based Trainings (WBTs), and other resources to support online, blended, and in-person training.

This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing new courses and educational solutions across various delivery methods; making significant revisions to existing courses; establishing standards for course design, development, and evaluation; providing guidance materials; and mentoring new instructors in course delivery and instructional methodologies.
  • Collaborating in a team-oriented setting and consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage a range of activities related to curriculum design, development, and training delivery, including but not limited to: needs assessment, instructional research and analysis, course and lesson creation, design, development, delivery, feedback solicitation, and program evaluation.

Required Qualifications/Education:
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience in a training environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in Joomla site design and administration
  • Experience in developing WBTs, online training courses, websites, or other e-learning solutions
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge, PDF, as well as Dreamweaver, After Effects, or similar software
  • Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS OneNote, MS Word
  • Ability to solve complex application development challenges.
  • Experience providing recommendations on product design.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Captivate
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining websites
  • Ability to create print materials such as posters, books, and presentation materials
  • Experience with content creation and management tools for web design, development, programming, graphic design, animation, videography, photography, and audio recording, editing, and distribution
  • Experience with JIRA or other IT ticketing or work tracking systems
  • Ability to utilize images/graphics from ENVATO, Shutterstock, and other subscription platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with web-based collaboration and document management platforms; task management tools that provide browser-based access for team document libraries, calendars, task lists, alerts, and schedules such as SharePoint or similar software
  • Familiarity with cloud technology networks and systems
  • Experience in creating motion graphic products
  • Experience collaborating with specialists to develop training products
  • General photography skills
  • Experience in video production or a supporting role in video production
  • Knowledge of JavaScript (JS)
  • Experience in graphic design, including animation and 3D animation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Online Learning, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Certification(s): UX/UI Ability Certification from an accredited institution
