Position Overview:
Alarm is expanding its product marketing team and is in search of a Product Marketing Specialist. We seek a motivated and analytical marketing professional to design, implement, and manage launch strategies that align with Alarm's product goals. The Product Marketing Specialist will oversee projects from inception to completion, taking into account user requirements, market dynamics, and competitive analysis.

This collaborative and creative individual will play a crucial role within the Product department, working closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, create resources, and produce marketing materials for successful product launches.

This position reports to the Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops compelling product positioning, marketing messages, and sales enablement tools to facilitate the successful introduction of new products and features.

Formulates comprehensive go-to-market strategies for key offerings, leveraging data insights and competitive analysis to position Alarm effectively. Clearly communicates how Alarm's technology differentiates itself and the solutions it provides to customers.

Acts as the Voice of the Customer, gathering insights from customer-facing teams to refine product positioning and assess previous launches.

Facilitates internal alignment and review of critical assets to ensure timelines and deliverables are met. Effectively communicates launch plans and available resources across the organization to keep all teams informed and prepared. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, preferably in a technology-focused environment. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in graphic design tools such as PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop. Strong writing skills with a proven track record in creating engaging marketing and sales content.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience collaborating across various roles and teams within an organization.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A strong analytical mindset and a passion for making data-driven decisions. Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and innovative approaches in dynamic markets.

The compensation for this role ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, and it includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
