The Clinical Specialist II - AF Solutions will play a key role in promoting and supporting the Watchman product line through education of current and potential customers within a defined area. This individual will provide clinical education, sales strategy, and support to assist in achieving or exceeding projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within assigned product lines.
Responsibilities- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms.
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them achieve their goals.
- Develop relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital and identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Provide direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Implement and monitor strategies outlined by the quarterly plan of action for the area, including market development, product launch, and competitive product intelligence.
- Coordinate territory and other BSC sales management and representative's efforts to build strategic partnerships that will further area and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or equivalent education and experience
- Must demonstrate a technical aptitude and ability to discuss and explain complex technical product information
- Work experience in the area of Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation desired
