Job Title: Fraud Prevention Specialist II

Stellantis Financial Services US is a leading provider of financial services to the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Prevention Specialist II to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Fraud Prevention Specialist II is responsible for investigating and preventing fraud to mitigate the risk of loss to the company. This includes conducting research, gathering information, and interviewing customers to identify fraud, assess risk, and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and investigate potential fraudulent activities
  • Review and investigate discrepancies on credit applications, loan contracts, and other documents
  • Conduct customer phone interviews to clear credit bureau fraud alerts and verify applicant identity
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns indicative of fraud
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and losses
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies related to fraud prevention
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting investigation findings and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the auto finance industry as a fraud specialist or credit role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with fraud detection software such as Point Predictive, TLO, and LexisNexis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in fraud prevention
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
