About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Stage Production Manager to join our team at Insomniac Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our Stage Production department, you will be responsible for supporting the functions of our stage production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement stage drawings, specifications, and other documents for assigned projects.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain production standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each festival.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and production plans for projects.
  • Organize and lead team meetings, manage planning efforts, and ensure delivery against project roadmaps.
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to ensure project goals are exceeded.
  • Develop and implement organized workflows that meet the needs of both projects and the department.
  • Collaborate with production, creative, and finance teams to greenlight and plan projects.
  • Provide resources to teams to develop production project plans.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to achieve creative goals and understand financial implications and cost efficiencies.
  • Partner with show leadership, creatives, and producers to evaluate concepts for opportunities on execution.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard team members.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams.
  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience with event technical production and operations.
  • 5+ years' experience with live bands, changeovers.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve, and perform research.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel.
  • General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows.
  • Knowledge of concert promotion and live event business is a plus.
  • Ability to frequently travel (economy).
Work Environment
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
  • May work in drastic temperature climates working onsite at our events.
  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines.
