Position Summary:

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will utilize your technical knowledge in building services to oversee various innovative projects across the United States and internationally. This role requires strong communication skills and effective collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and design team members within a skilled team environment.
  • Create detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, site reports, and schedules across multiple projects within the electrical domain.
  • Coordinate with utility companies and manage the acquisition of electrical permits.
  • Develop technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Oversee and verify the quality of work produced by Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
  • Manage preliminary engineering and detailed design solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications and monitor financial performance of projects.
  • Inform senior staff about critical service/design decisions ensuring client objectives are met.
  • Mentor junior Electrical Engineers and manage workload to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with current legislation and building codes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services and construction sectors.
  • Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and Stadiums preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is desirable.
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiar with electrical analysis and lighting design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, including experience presenting to C-suite level stakeholders.
  • Capable of preparing detailed technical reports directly for clients.
