Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Heritage Bank. As a key member of our Customer Service Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to internal and external customers, resolving customer inquiries and issues, and promoting our bank's products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Process customer transactions, including account maintenance and customer requests.
  • Work effectively with other branches and departments to resolve customer issues and promote bank products and services.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills, and stay up-to-date on bank policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; job-specific education or training may be required.
  • Level I: 6-12 months of recent experience in retail banking and/or bank operations, with emphasis on customer service.
  • Level II: 2+ years of recent experience in retail banking, bank operations, and/or a service/call center environment, with working knowledge of multiple functions.
  • Senior: 3+ years of recent call center experience, with emphasis on customer service, technical skills, and working knowledge of all major functions in a service center environment.
Working Environment

This is a full-time position, with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, and rotating Saturdays, 9:00am-1:00pm. Flexibility is required to work to ensure adequate staffing for training or employee absences.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to sit for long periods, use a computer keyboard and mouse, and communicate with customers by phone. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds is also required.
