Rady Children's Physician Management Services (RCPMS) is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to promoting the health of children within our communities. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team at our corporate office in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding services, including anticipating staffing needs, posting jobs, screening and interviewing candidates, and presenting top candidates to hiring managers. Additional responsibilities may include electronic and paper records management, HRIS, employee events, employee rewards and recognition programs, workers compensation, and employee benefits.

Requirements:
  • Two years of experience in a human resources department as a multi-functional human resources assistant, representative, generalist, or recruiter.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, sociology, psychology, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and explain simple to complex information.
  • Ability to use good judgment and demonstrate discretion in the handling of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to approach others in a tactful manner, react well under pressure, and follow through on commitments.
  • Proven ability to deal positively with a wide range of people and personalities and handle tense situations in a diplomatic fashion.
  • Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations.
