About the Role

Kohl's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and investigate external and internal theft trends within assigned locations
  • Execute theft prevention strategies, including deterring theft and internal investigations to reduce exposure
  • Implement store awareness programs that address theft, safety, inventory, and shortage control
  • Effectively identify and communicate potential shortage opportunities to all leaders
  • Conduct operational audits and physical security inspections to ensure compliance with Kohl's policies and procedures
  • Partner with store personnel to address opportunities for improvement
  • Recruit and train new Loss Prevention Associates; lead and supervise Loss Prevention Officers and Loss Prevention Service Specialists (select locations)
  • Maintain customer service awareness and act as a representative on behalf of Kohl's on legal proceedings as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience or background in Loss Prevention, security, law enforcement, or retail
  • Knowledge of surveillance and basic CCTV systems
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn programs in Google Suite and various other computer programs
