Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire extinguishers and emergency exit lighting systems to ensure compliance with national, manufacturer, and local fire protection codes.
  • Perform repairs and installations of fire extinguishers and emergency exit lighting systems as needed.
  • Manage inventory of truck stock, parts, and new equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Emphasize quality of work and strive for perfection in all assigned duties.
  • Follow and maintain a highly structured schedule to complete all assigned services and inspections on time.
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation of tests performed and input, retrieve, and archive inspection reports and documents.
  • Identify and report deficiencies found during inspections and input service repair documents, complete service acknowledgments, and safety documentation.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with company staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical and system manuals.
  • Extensive knowledge of customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Related fire protection experience required.
  • Ideal candidate has exemplary written and verbal communication skills, is detailed, organized, and professional.
