This position is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days working remotely.

Our organization, Simplex, is a reputable and expanding investment and wealth management firm dedicated to serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients. With a workforce of approximately 140 professionals, we manage over $30 billion in assets.

Simplex is looking for a Client Advisor to become part of our team. This role is crucial as we establish a new office location, allowing you to contribute to a world-class client experience. This is a unique chance to blend the entrepreneurial excitement of a new office with the established excellence of a firm with over 20 years in the industry.

In this role, the Advisor will support senior team members in executing and maintaining clients' investment and strategic plans. Responsibilities may include overseeing account openings and managing client portfolios, preparing presentations for client meetings, confirming trading activities, monitoring portfolios against asset allocation goals, engaging in special projects, collaborating with accountants and estate planners, and addressing client inquiries and requests.

We are seeking individuals who are organized, energetic, and collaborative. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. This person must be committed to delivering the highest level of client service, professionalism, and confidentiality. Additionally, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of experience or demonstrated interest in the Wealth Management or Investment industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Interest in pursuing advanced degrees or professional certifications (CFA, CFP, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (experience with tools like Addepar or RedBlack is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail; effective problem-solving skills.
  • High energy and self-motivated, thriving in an entrepreneurial setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
