Job Responsibilities

The Senior Accounting Associate will independently manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision. You will report directly to the Senior Tax Staff and the Tax Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various tax returns for federal and state obligations for partnerships, C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals.
  • Ensure tax compliance and manage client relationships, including direct communication as directed by management.
  • Assist management with IRS audits
  • Respond to tax notices and prepare necessary documentation to ensure outstanding client service.
  • Exhibit proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and adherence to professional standards.
  • Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in accounting and tax software applications.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements is essential.
  • Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software and QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • CPA eligibility or licensure is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current tax regulations and codes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
