Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Energy Storage Electrical Helper to join our team at Mortenson. As a key member of our electrical crew, you will assist experienced electricians with material handling, equipment assembly, and cleaning of work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist electrical laborers and journeyman with material handling, assembling, and dismantling of equipment.
  2. Prepare work areas, clean machines, and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  3. Work under close supervision, following standard instructions and established procedures.
  4. Effectively communicate and build relationships with diverse team members and organizational levels.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  1. Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operation manuals, and blueprints.
  2. Willingness to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.
  3. Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools, equipment, and materials.
  4. Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, and professional customer service skills.
  5. Detail-oriented and active listening skills.
  6. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and frequently work in heat and other weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Relevant experience in electrical work or a related field.
  2. Current driver's license and crane rigging experience.
