About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Compliance Specialist to join our legal team. This is a critical role in ensuring ChargePoint's compliance with regulatory requirements as we continue to lead the electric mobility revolution.

This position involves supporting the preparation and filing of all Form 3 and Form 4 filings, obtaining and maintaining EDGAR codes for Form 3/4 filers, and using Workiva to prepare and draft annual proxy statements and related corporate SEC filings.

The successful candidate will have strong initiative and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented with a strong desire to create structure and scalable processes, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain corporate records, including entity formation, dissolution, foreign qualifications, and obtaining EINS;
  • Partner with internal Finance & Accounting teams and manage outside corporate counsel to assist with annual compliance filings;
  • Prepare and file Form 3 and Form 4 filings with the SEC;
  • Obtain and maintain EDGAR codes for Form 3/4 filers;
  • Use Workiva to prepare and draft annual proxy statements and related corporate SEC filings;
  • Maintain ChargePoint's contract management system, including workflow creation and work assignments;
  • Manage commercial contracts, including nondisclosure agreements (inbound/outbound);
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders by providing excellent customer service;
  • Assist and support the legal group in administrative tasks;
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve Legal processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in corporate transactional work;
  • Strong knowledge of Workiva, Ironclad, Microsoft Office Platform, DocuSign, and Intelligize (or the SEC's EDGAR site);
  • Current licensed California Notary in good standing;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong desire to create structure and scalable processes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information;
  • Research and analytical skills;
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently.

Location: Campbell, CA

Salary Range: $85,000 - $160,000
