Job Description

New Gig Solutions is partnering with a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector.

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to spearhead integration efforts between our client's ecosystem and their growing network of global partners and products.

This role will require collaborating with internal hardware and software engineering teams, as well as serving as the technical point of contact for external partners.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of residential energy systems, including inverters, energy storage systems, and EV chargers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and conducting testing in specialized test facilities
  • Drafting and overseeing integration designs and specifications
  • Managing field testing, system qualification, and certification processes
  • Leading product pilot programs with hands-on involvement
  • Coordinating between cross-functional teams and external partners

The successful candidate will possess a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of hands-on experience with photovoltaic inverters, energy storage, or similar hardware products.

A strong working knowledge of electrical systems and electrician principles is essential, along with practical experience in field operations, electrical wiring, communication protocols, and system integration and testing.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, and a hybrid work arrangement.
