The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during the overnight shift. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Auditing and Reporting: Conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, and prepare reports for management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Security: Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as balancing transactions, preparing daily reports, and maintaining accurate records.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to operate a computerized front desk system.
