Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a key member of the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for checking guests in, processing payments, and maintaining the hotel's financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Provide friendly and efficient registration, guest settlement, and information to all guests and fellow employees.
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately balance and audit the hotel's income and expenses for the current 24-hour period.
  • Communication: Interact with fellow team members professionally, assisting other departments with necessary information.
  • Emergency Procedures: Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain house bank and handle cash transactions.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenue.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a service industry, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, confident and mature professional able to resolve and de-escalate problems independently, computer literate, pleasant telephone demeanor, levelheaded, patient, even tempered demeanor, positive and outgoing personality, cash handling experience preferred, overnight shift experience preferred.

Compensation:

The compensation for this position is $14.00/Hr. - $15.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
