Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT intern to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. As an IT intern, you will contribute to high-impact meaningful projects that will further advance our company's mission and provide you with real-world experience at a leading biopharmaceutical organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Cell Therapy arm of BioSpace, Inc. to deliver personalized product to cancer patients
  • Develop and maintain reports for team financials, project status, and key performance indicators
  • Opportunity to work within BioSpace, Inc.'s data and analytics datalake to automate reporting capabilities
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure metrics or key performance indicators match the business' expectations of successful measures of operations
  • Utilize reporting tools to identify performance risks or success against service level agreements opportunities of improvement or early warnings of
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine IT metrics reporting to meet the business needs
  • Showcase your work with a final poster board presentation near the conclusion of your internship
  • Showcase your work with a final presentation (PPT) near the conclusion of your internship
Requirements

To be considered for this internship, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Be authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University
  • Be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
  • Be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad or a Graduate or Doctoral Student
  • Be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to identify issues and seek solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace
  • Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative software development practices
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, enhancing the ability to contribute to project management activities
  • Interest in data science including reporting tools is a plus (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into IT solutions
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to bridge the gap between IT and business teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in cross-functional teams
