Automation Development Intern

At Tesla, we are seeking highly motivated post-secondary interns to contribute to the design and development of new automation equipment and assembly lines for our advanced production facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team building "the machine that makes the machine."
Responsibilities:
- Developing and designing new manufacturing equipment
- Developing, designing, and programming control systems for new equipment
- Executing project tasks relating to stamping die design and development
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with CAD (AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks)
- Strong propensity to build, assemble, fix and program things
- Hands-on experience, previous internship, and/or project experience is preferred, particularly with machines and mechanisms
