About the Role

Target is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to join our Endpoint Security team. As a member of this high-performing team, you will use Agile and DevOps delivery methods to improve the security of our endpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance products that keep our endpoints secure
  • Use scripting languages, open-source tools, and vendor products to build robust, well-tested, automated, and scalable security controls
  • Lead the evaluation, testing, design, and implementation of endpoint security tools
  • Support and maintain products that secure hundreds of thousands of endpoints
  • Test endpoint security tool capabilities against threats in lab environments
  • Research and improve upon industry best practices
  • Work closely with partner teams
  • Mentor engineers and improve engineering practices

About You

We are looking for a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership. You should have a 4-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience and hands-on experience with a scripting language such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc. You should also have a desire to build subject matter expertise in threat detection, prevention, and response.

Work Arrangement

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. This means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team, and tasks require for that day.
