About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Fitness Trainer to join our team at Anytime Fitness - St Mary's, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead group fitness classes and one-on-one training sessions for clients.
  • Assess client fitness levels, health history, and goals to create personalized training programs.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and motivation to clients throughout their fitness journey.
  • Ensure clients are using equipment and performing exercises in a safe and effective manner.
  • Review and implement pre-established group workouts aligned with the Anytime Fitness brand.
  • Monitor client progress, adjust training programs as needed, and track achievements.
  • Educate clients on nutrition and lifestyle factors that contribute to overall wellness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously expand knowledge and expertise in fitness and health.
Requirements
  • Possess a recognized personal training certification (e.g. NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA) with valid CPR/AED certification.
  • Previous experience as a group fitness instructor or personal fitness trainer is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science principles.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Energetic, motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and management.
