Job Summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist II in the Complex GI department. This is a full-time position working days.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, adhering to the organization's policies, values, and mission.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Evaluate learning needs of the patient and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
  • May precept student nurses and new hires.
Requirements
  • Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
