Key Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Set up and operate CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills along with CNC lathes.
- Ensure the accuracy of operations by validating machine programs and work instructions prior to machining.
- Conduct first article setups on CNC Mills and Lathes to verify program and setup instructions, followed by processing remaining parts while performing continuous checks and inspections to meet dimensional and surface finish specifications throughout the production run.
- Interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and work order routings.
- Document processes by completing work order routings.
- Uphold safety standards by adhering to established safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication and documentation among work shifts regarding actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
- Keep the machines and work area organized and clean.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment to adapt to frequently changing production demands.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a machinist with CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills.
- Recent operational experience with CNC Mills utilizing Fanuc and Haas Controls.
- Basic mathematical skills for interpreting drawings.
- Fundamental computer skills for time entry and document retrieval.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as it relates to part inspection.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in using machine tools (cutting tools), work holding equipment/fixtures, and necessary accessories for operating and maintaining CNC machines.
- Proficient in using various measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and ring groove gauges.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (with shift differential pay), overtime, and weekends as required.

Work Schedule:
Start and end times may vary, generally from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with an expected workload of approximately 48 to 65 hours per week.
Training may occur during day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Shift differential of $1.25 per hour.

Essential Skills:
- 5 or more years of experience on CNC Mills, preferably with Haas.
- Ability to set up and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes.
- Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Haas controls.
- Capability to read and interpret detailed AutoCAD drawings.
- Willingness and ability to set up and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Experience in manufacturing equipment for the oil field is advantageous.

Additional Information:
Must possess a valid driver's license and meet state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage.
