Job Title: Health Educator I or II

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a leading provider of comprehensive health services to diverse communities. We are seeking a skilled Health Educator I or II to join our team in Vancouver, WA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and improve patient outcomes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients, employees, and community partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide health education interventions to patients, including one-on-one interactions and group classes.
  • Initiate and maintain professional contact with community groups and organizations to increase accessibility and availability of resources for patients.
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations to strengthen health education programming.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in health education, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience in patient health counseling, educating small and large groups, and engaging difficult-to-engage populations.
  • Ability to develop curriculum and educational materials.
  • Travel is required for this role, so a reliable vehicle and valid Washington State license are necessary.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
