Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Technical Accounting group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, with expertise in structuring unique partnership arrangements and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structuring and evaluation of complex transactions from a technical accounting standpoint, focusing on innovative partnership and joint venture arrangements.
  • Collaborate closely with various finance and business groups, including corporate development, treasury, tax, and legal, to enable and execute on new opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate representation of transactions in external reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging accounting issues and analyze their implications for Equinix's financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical accounting, with a strong preference for Big 4 accounting firm professional practice or national office experience serving major SEC clients.
  • CPA certification or equivalent required; additional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
