$154,830 - $192,252 Annual (C01.5)
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a blend of in-person and remote work flexibility.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Financial Analyst Team Leader to oversee complex budgetary submissions and financial strategies within a dynamic environment. This role involves conducting in-depth budget analyses, managing resources, and providing strategic guidance on intricate financial matters. You will lead the Resource Allocation team within the Nuclear Threat Reduction Program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of intricate budget proposals and financial strategies.
- Analyze complex funding and workforce data, reviewing proposals and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Act as a primary contact for self-assessments and organizational responses to findings.
- Conduct advanced analyses and modeling to support critical decision-making processes.
- Formulate and implement decisions within your authority, providing expert consultation on financial processes.
- Design operational metrics and develop policies in compliance with federal financial regulations.
- Guide financial staff and manage special projects, fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of financial functions, including funding sources and financial policy application.
- Proficiency in developing complex financial spreadsheets and utilizing financial tools.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting and presenting complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in leading teams and managing performance effectively.
- Advanced organizational skills for managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Expertise in financial systems and tools relevant to the Laboratory's operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with extensive experience.
- Familiarity with LLNL financial processes and policies.
Additional Information
This position requires a Q-level clearance and adherence to federal regulations regarding drug testing and mobile device restrictions.
