Overview
The Patient Care Specialist is dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience.

This position ensures that all transactions adhere to state regulations while actively listening to and addressing customer needs throughout the sales journey.

Additionally, this role is responsible for accurately documenting transactions in point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management systems. Most importantly, this position reflects the culture and brand identity of Justice Cannabis Co.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Duties

  • Delivers a consistently exceptional customer experience
  • Guides customers in selecting products based on established treatment plans and availability
  • Meets daily and weekly sales targets by responding to customer inquiries and identifying
opportunities to introduce new and alternative products

  • Continuously enhances communication and service skills to boost sales and generate positive
feedback

  • Informs customers about product features and proper usage
  • Ensures customers are properly registered in the patient tracking system
  • Conducts sales transactions in accordance with all regulations governing cannabis sales


  • Completes accurate sales documentation
  • Ensures all transactions are recorded in compliance with state regulations in the point-of-sale and inventory systems


  • Contributes to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized retail environment
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures, and practices set forth by Justice Cannabis Co. regarding sales and service


  • Follows all safety and security protocols for retail staff
  • Performs administrative tasks as required (customer profile completion, sales tracking, etc.)
  • Builds ongoing relationships with customers
  • Completes customer profiles to facilitate future sales and service opportunities
  • Stays informed about new and existing products through vendor training and collaboration with management and senior sales consultants

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a retail or hospitality setting with cash handling responsibilities


  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment is preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license or state ID
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks and certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in computer use with the ability to learn operational systems (Alpine IQ, Leaflogix, MJ Freeway, Veriscan, Microsoft Office, and Metrc, etc.)

    • Experience with Outlook email and the Microsoft Office suite

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The characteristics of the work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those encountered by an employee while performing the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds to stock product boxes. The position requires frequent reaching into cabinets and displays to present and review products.

Ability to maintain a stationary position for up to eight hours a day based on business needs and sales volume; and, the ability to bend and retrieve products from lower shelves.

This role also involves entering information into sales and tracking systems, necessitating hand dexterity and the ability to visually verify accurate product information.
