Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Jushi. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the formulation, mixing, and filling of cannabis-based medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and mix cannabis products according to established recipes and protocols.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Follow established work instructions and complete necessary documentation and data entry.
  • Perform necessary steps in formulation, filling, and manufacture of cannabis materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all site safety requirements and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct inventory audits of lab consumables and other materials, and maintain an inventory of packaging and labeling materials.
  • Provide feedback to improve process quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 2-year technical degree in automation, packaging, and biomedical technology or a related field.
  • In lieu of a technical degree, a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a regulated environment with automated or semi-automated equipment.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment

The job is performed in a controlled environment with exposure to dust, allergens, and water. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, and bending.
