Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in advancing the department's goals by employing sound accounting practices to manage transactions, analyze and reconcile accounts, maintain accurate records, and support the operational units.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and precise processing of financial transactions.
- Prepare and uphold sufficient documentation for all transactions and journal entries.
- Engage in monthly general ledger closing and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts at the end of each month.
- Contribute to the annual physical inventory or cycle counting activities.
- Assist in the annual audit conducted by external accounting firms.
- Calculate and submit sales and use tax filings.
- Focus on continuous improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on minimizing waste.
- Undertake special projects as required.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including pivot tables and lookup functions).

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships may be considered).
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
