**Position Overview**

This role is integral to the Contract Management Team (CMT) responsible for overseeing the Systems Engineering Support (SES) contract. Reporting to the Business Finance Officer and the Operations Manager, the analyst will engage in a variety of Project Services, Accounts Receivable (AR) billing, travel management, and financial support functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of Project Services, Billing, Purchasing, and Accounting operations. Key responsibilities include:

Project Services:

  • Comprehend the fundamentals of government contracting.
  • Manage Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC), along with project tracking and reporting.
  • Utilize and understand the Operational Budget.
  • Oversee the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL).
  • Prepare and present Profit Analysis to Project/Program Managers and senior management.
  • Conduct financial data entry and manage timecard imports.
  • Administer Charge Code Management.
  • Provide additional support for project management functions, including travel.
  • Facilitate travel requests and reimbursement submissions to Accounts Payable (AP).

Billing and Accounting:

  • Process and submit Accounts Receivable billing.
  • Handle Accounts Payable invoices for payment.
  • Manage AR deposits effectively.
  • Support reporting requirements for Small Business Administration (SBA), state, and other entities.
  • Oversee Purchase Order (PO) processing and provide necessary training.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred. Equivalent experience in government contract support may be considered.
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and budgeting processes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Microsoft Word: Ability to create and format documents and tables.
  • Microsoft Excel: Capability to develop complex worksheets and formulas.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Skill in creating presentations and basic flowcharts.
  • Experience with advanced ERP systems, such as ESP21, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail are required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
