Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leadership and Principal Giving Officer to join our Institutional Advancement team. This is a critical role that requires a strong ability to build relationships, identify and cultivate key donors, and secure major gifts to support the College's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify, cultivate, and solicit key donors and prospects for major gifts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, parents, and friends of the College.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Philanthropy and other team members to develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Secure major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support the College's strategic goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and stewardship to donors and prospects.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and philanthropy, and apply this knowledge to improve fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in higher education or a related field.
  • Proven track record of securing major gifts and developing successful fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
