Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to enhance our dynamic software development team. This role is pivotal in refining and expanding our development workflows, ensuring that our applications and infrastructure are not only scalable but also resilient and efficient. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with both our software development and IT operations teams to architect, implement, and sustain robust automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

The Cloud Operations Engineer will also spearhead our DevOps initiatives, optimize processes, and cultivate a culture of ongoing enhancement.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL database management, scripting, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Terraform, along with scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent languages.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD system implementation (rolling, staging, etc.), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated monitoring and alerting.
  • Solid grasp of cloud operations, application management, cybersecurity principles, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving goals.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a DevOps capacity, with substantial expertise in managing AWS/GCP environments and deploying applications using Go.
  • Over 5 years of experience with programming languages such as C#, Golang, Python, etc.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
