Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Controls Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering and systems integration company, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining industrial automation and control systems for a variety of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, oil and gas, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debug and troubleshoot PLCs on the plant floor
  • Write code and identify wiring problems
  • Work on the plant floor and have experience with automotive manufacturing
  • Design control panels and circuits, including logic and smart displays
  • Work with software such as RSLogix 5000, RS Networx, ControlNet, EtherNET IP, Drive software, and Panelbuilder
Requirements
  • Experience working in the automotive industry, preferably with companies like Ford or GM
  • Background in control panel and circuit design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
