Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Splunk Cleared Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the smooth deployment of enterprise technologies to our customers. The ideal candidate possesses sharp Splunk knowledge, keen problem-solving skills, and can quickly analyze, identify, and resolve complicated issues. August Schell Splunk engineers are self-motivated, enthusiastic about learning new technologies, thrive in fast-paced environments, and drive customer success. This position combines work in the DMV area with travel within the United States.

Key Tasks
  • Implement complex Splunk deployments alongside our customers.
  • Analyze and resolve unique challenges across various use cases.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to identify limitations and find effective solutions.
  • Develop innovative solutions for optimal user adoption, product value, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or higher required.
  • A Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect Certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical consulting.
  • Proficiency in Unix and Windows operating systems and command line interfaces.
  • Understanding of common enterprise applications, particularly in security and finance.
  • Ability to rapidly understand complex problems and apply them to customer scenarios.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
