Position Overview

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Quality Programs Supervisor to enhance our Truman Health Services team. This role is a full-time day shift position.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Quality Programs Supervisor to guide our Quality Management Team in the creation and execution of quality enhancement initiatives, ensuring that Truman provides the highest standard of patient care. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining ongoing readiness for accreditation and managing site evaluations. The ideal candidate will offer insights to guarantee clinic adherence to HRSA/Ryan White Programs, NCQA, AAAHC, URAC, and other regulatory standards. Collaboration with UNM Truman Health Services' leadership will be essential in formulating action plans to address any identified gaps, including the establishment and execution of related monitoring systems. The successful candidate will also oversee data management and perform basic analyses to pinpoint areas for improvement and report on patient outcomes.

The Clinical Quality Programs Supervisor will directly manage members of the Quality Management team.

Compensation Range: Minimum $73,465 - Midpoint $93,641*

*Salary is determined based on years of relevant experience.

*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the daily operations that support the development and execution of the Quality Management Program through the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of national quality initiatives via research, data management, analysis, and reporting.
  2. Collect, analyze, and communicate a broad spectrum of institutional data to establish benchmarks and support decision-making, problem-solving, and planning for continuous quality enhancement.
  3. Supervise Quality personnel, including work allocation, training, promotion, enforcement of internal procedures, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions; inspire employees to achieve optimal productivity and performance.
  4. Develop a system to monitor progress and compliance with standards of care for accreditation.
  5. Manage the execution of quality and process improvement projects in a systematic and consistent manner, integrating all relevant data.
  6. Assess reporting requirements and create statistical and narrative reports for the leadership team.
  7. Establish and maintain any necessary databases for the functions outlined above, ensuring data integrity.
  8. Coordinate with UNM Health System quality and compliance initiatives and participate in centralized initiatives as needed.
  9. Actively participate as a member of the health system Quality Council.
  10. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
