About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Operations Coordinator to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our High-Volume Pharmacy team, you will provide administrative support and problem-solving assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Participate in Training Sessions: Coordinate and participate in weekly/monthly training sessions for new hires to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Vendor Management: Set up regular maintenance visits with vendors, including setup through Coupa, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • PTU Training Setup and Monitoring: Oversee the initial setup and monitoring of PTU training to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • SOP Updates and Maintenance: Update and maintain current SOPs/best practices for production stations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Inventory Audits: Assist with and perform quarterly inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Onboarding Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Project Support: Provide project support, including proofreading, managing distribution lists, reports, and records, to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Reporting and Coordination: Create and maintain reports (daily, monthly, and quarterly) and coordinate routine matters, meetings, travel, and other assignments with minimal direction.
  • Timekeeping and Payroll: Maintain timekeeping of all hourly associates and post payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Customer Support: Provide primary phone support for all stores and provide basic store support and issue resolution for pharmacies serviced by Central Fill.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure accurate, efficient processing and disposition of written correspondence, as well as oral communication, to maintain high-quality customer service.
  • Registration and Certification: Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license, depending on state requirements, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail, and excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Desired Qualifications: Any pharmacy experience, any knowledge of basic store support issues and resolutions.
