This position demands proficiency in risk evaluation, stakeholder collaboration, and mitigation planning.

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $85,000

Primary Duties:

  • Revise hazard mitigation strategies for municipalities and regions
  • Facilitate mitigation and adaptation projects
  • Collaborate with local authorities and community members
  • Evaluate and present risk assessment results
  • Oversee data management and pinpoint mitigation opportunities
  • Create decision-making support tools and involve the community

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Experience with FEMA and U.S. HUD planning processes
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Excellent technical writing capabilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in mitigation planning
  • Strong connections within the resilience sector
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations
