Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Partner Development Manager for Smart Manufacturing to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our partner organization, you will be responsible for driving enterprise digital transformation initiatives with strategic technology partners in the Smart Manufacturing Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner Engagement: Engage with AWS partner, sales, and BD teams to support the growth of partners and drive AWS Marketing and Sales engagements with our customers through our partners.
  2. Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy with the partner globally, working closely with AWS Partner Sales & BD teams to drive 'sell-with' plans with Smart Manufacturing technology partners with specialized Manufacturing Automation use cases.
  3. Business Value: Develop ROI frameworks and run forecast models to demonstrate business value to AWS and the partner, establishing AWS as the partner's preferred cloud partner.
  4. Technical Leadership: Understand the technical requirements of each partner and work closely with internal AWS development teams to guide the direction of partner product offerings.
  5. Contract Negotiations: Manage complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing, and business terms.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
