Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Specialist to join our team at SSS Of Parma. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing new products from concept to commercialization, providing technical support to other departments, and reverse engineering recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new product ideas, including formulation, testing, and scaling up production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and meet customer needs.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform product development decisions and optimize processes.
  • Reverse engineer recipes to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Two to four years of experience in a related field, such as food science, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food ingredients, formulations, and processing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Working Conditions

This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work in a laboratory setting, with exposure to various chemicals and equipment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel to off-site meetings and events.
