Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at Brown and Caldwell. As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' compliance with environmental regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct environmental studies, permitting, and compliance reviews to ensure our clients' compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and understand state and federal environmental and health and safety regulations to provide expert advice to our clients.
  • Develop and implement environmental and health and safety programs to ensure our clients' compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their understanding of environmental and health and safety regulations and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Compliance, or Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Material Science) or related field.
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
