About the Role

BBSI is seeking a highly skilled Safety Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to our business-owner clients and internal teams on enterprise risk management and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best practices for enterprise risk management and risk mitigation
  • Partner with client companies to educate and influence them on matters involving proactive risk management culture, occupational health and safety, and behavior-based safety
  • Conduct facility, job site, and pre-construction surveys to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide regulatory compliance support, including OSHA consultations and driver safety, fleet safety, and loss control
  • Develop and implement return-to-work programs and train-the-trainer occupational safety training programs
  • Identify and develop safety champions and provide training and support to promote a proactive risk management culture
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, occupational health and safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Professional certification(s) such as CSP, ARM, RPIH, CHMM, CIH, or Six Sigma
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and interact with professionals in multiple industries
