Job Title: Research Data Analyst II

Job Summary:

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a Research Data Analyst II to join our team in the Long Term Care System Development Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and establishing reimbursement rates for Long Term Care providers under the Medi-Cal program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze data to establish reimbursement rates for Long Term Care providers
  • Develop and implement research methodologies and techniques to support data analysis
  • Provide consultative advice to governmental entities and agencies on data-related matters
  • Act as a lead person for major projects or activities, designing and implementing research projects and acquiring knowledge of data processing and research methods

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as data analysis, statistics, or computer science
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and statistical methods

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and adapt to changing priorities.
