Senior Director, Tax Strategy and Compliance

Cushman & Wakefield National seeks a highly experienced Senior Director, Tax Reporting & Special Projects to lead the corporate tax function and drive strategic tax planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and international tax accounting, with expertise in tax compliance, planning, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual global consolidated income tax provisions under US GAAP and IAS 12.
- Manage the consolidation of tax matters for financial reporting purposes, establishing global policies and procedures, and resolving technical tax and accounting issues.
- Determine and document uncertain tax positions and significant tax attributes of the Company.
- Develop and maintain internal controls for the accounting for income taxes.
- Implement process improvements for the US and global tax processes.
- Translate technical tax matters into non-technical terms for presentation to senior management.
- Develop and manage cash tax and effective tax rate (ETR) forecasting and budgeting activities.
- 10+ years of relevant tax accounting and comprehensive US GAAP experience.
- Tax firm and corporate tax department experience is preferred.
- BS/BA in accounting or finance; MBA, MST, JD, and/or LLM in Taxation is preferred.
- CPA.
- Strong knowledge of OneSource Provision software or aptitude to be trained.
- Knowledge of US corporation taxation in a global structure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
